Tafseer: When a person is attracted to a matter, it is first presented to the mind where he/she decides the extent of their attraction (here the attraction may easily be dismissed). Thereafter, the matter, if serious, may move to the heart where the attraction/interest becomes stable and firm. In the case of this verse, the feelings moved from her mind to her heart. The word الشغاف refers to the thin membrane that protects the heart; thus meaning, love crossed the membrane and completely overtook her heart. — Islamic Scholar, Alsha'rawi
